Mark Elliot Papier is an award-winning Storm Specialist and On-Camera Meteorologist for The Weather Channel. He has been part of The Weather Channel broadcast team since 2004. Mark holds a dual major undergraduate degree from Rutgers University in Meteorology and Environmental Science Physics. He then continued his studies at The Georgia Institute of Technology, completing a Master of Science in Earth and Atmospheric Sciences. He serves on the executive board of JCAN-GA (Jewish Climate Action Network) as their Chief Climate Officer, and is a member of Ahavath Achim synagogue where he is an active Greening Group member. He often appears on Zoom meetings with his two super-cute children, Avery and Micah.
